Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival in Colombo and transfer to the Cultural Triangle (Sigiriya).
Your driver will meet you at the airport and transfer you directly to your hotel in Sigiriya. Spend the evening relaxing after your flight.
Day 2 Climb Sigiriya Rock Fortress and enjoy an elephant safari at Minneriya National Park.
Start your morning by climbing the ancient Lion Rock. Later in the afternoon, jump into a 4x4 jeep for a wild elephant safari.
Day 3 Travel to Kandy, visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic and watch a cultural dance performance.
Head to the hill capital. Explore the sacred temple and immerse yourself in an evening of traditional Sri Lankan drumming and dancing.
Day 4 Board the famous scenic train from Kandy to Ella through the misty mountains.
Experience one of the most beautiful train rides in the world, passing through tea estates and misty highland forests.
Day 5 Explore Ella, including Little Adam’s Peak and Nine Arch Bridge.
Wake up to mountain views. Hike to Little Adam's Peak and watch the trains cross the iconic Nine Arch Bridge.
Day 6 Travel to the Southern coast and Galle, with an optional Meetiyagoda craft or moonstone workshop stop.
Leave the mountains behind and drive toward the sunny southern coast, stopping to see traditional craftsmanship.
Day 7 Galle Fort walking tour and transfer to Colombo/Airport for departure.
Wander through the cobbled streets of the Dutch Fort before heading back to the airport for your onward journey.
